Heavy haul and over size, also know as over dimensional shipments, pose special challenges for shipper, and quite often, a shipment falls into both classifications. Heavy haul shipments can require special routings in order to travel only on highways that permit vehicle weights accommodating your shipment. Over size or over dimensional shipments may also require the acquicition of special permits issued by various governmental agencies, states, and other municipalities through which your shipment will move. Although heavy haul, over sized, and over dimensional shipments require special attention, Cowboy USA, LLC's experienced team has a large number of heavy haul and over size carriers at our disposal.  Step Deck Trailers
 
The most versatile trailer in specialized transportation, step decks are usually 48' or 53' long with lower deck length of 37' to 43', and heights as low as 32" to 36", more commonly found at 38" to 42". The extendable step stretches to fit those long loads, with lower deck lengths possible up  to 61'. The weight capacity that a step deck can carry is 45,000 pds. On the aluminum step deck trailers can transport upto 48,000 lds.

Removable Goose Neck (RGN) 
 
Removable Goose Neck trailers commonly known as "RGN" or "detach" trailers in the industry today. These trailers is mainly used for hauling construction equipment like cranes, forklifts, and other self-propelled equipment that can be driven on and off. The gooseneck detaches and is pulled away from the lower deck along with the tractor, clearing the way to drive the load onto or off the trailer. The RGN trailers come in carious sizes of deck types (flat floor, beam, or drop side) lengths, and heights, are variable configurations of axles.
